Morning Groups run for 4 days, from 9:00 am – Noon each day Morning seminars will be capped at 15 participants. Additional participants will be added solely at the discretion of the convener. Most groups have some advance reading; please contact the convener for that information so that you are able to fully participate with the group discussions. Site Visit To Fisk University
We have arranged a site visit to Fisk University, where W.E.B. DuBois graduated in 1888, and where a collection of his manuscripts and papers reside. The visit will include the Fisk archives to view material related to Black literary intellectuals, and the Fisk Jubilee singers. We will also make stops at Fisk’s art galleries, historic Memorial Chapel, and more. There is no additional charge for this; however, Fisk has asked that we provide a number of attendees so they can adequately prepare. Please indicate below if you are interested in attending. Please note, we will not be scheduling any activities that will conflict with the visit.
